Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April. Rhode Island bookstores will be celebrating all day on April 27, and you're welcome to join us. Pick up a Rhode Island passport at any of the participating stores, and visit 14 of the 15 participating stores to win prizes and be entered to win one grand prize!

Passport Prize: A coupon from each of the 15 participating stores for 20% off a purchase on a future visit (some exclusions apply). Awarded to everyone who completes the passport by visiting 14 of the 15 participating bookstores

Grand Prize: One $25 gift certificate to each of the 15 participating bookstores (a $375 value). Drawn at random from Passport Prize winners

Rules:
This event takes place during the day on Saturday, April 27 (Independent Bookstore Day), during each bookstore’s business hours.

Participants can pick up a passport at any of the 15 bookstores on Independent Bookstore Day.

Participants are required to visit 14 of the 15 bookstores on the list to qualify for the Passport Prize and gain entry to win the Grand Prize.

No purchase is required to participate.

Each participating bookstore will issue an original stamp in the passport during your visit.

Upon completion of the passport, a bookseller at the final stop will review the stamps and confirm your eligibility to win. You will be asked to fill out a form with your contact information, which will be used to mail Passport Prizes and for entry into the Grand Prize.

Participants are welcome to keep their passports.

We will contact the Grand Prize winner that week, and all prizes will be mailed out within two weeks of Independent Bookstore Day.

Coupons may not be used to purchase gift cards and are not redeemable for cash. Grand Prize gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
