This monthly gathering is inspired and based off of illustrator Julia Rothman's community drawing events. The premise is very simple — a bunch of local, female-identifying artists gather around a table, draw in their sketchbooks, and build a sense of community by creating artwork and sharing a drink together. The night is led by artist and illustrator Maret Bondorew who happens to also be the lead illustrator at Frog & Toad Press.

Don't forget your sketchbook/drawing/painting/doodling materials. Heck, bring some art books or reference material you're into to share as well! All skill levels welcome, of course. If your friend wants to join but she "is just into coloring books" let her know that she'll be welcome with open arms. ;) There will be some wine and cookies for everyone. If you're feeling inspired, feel free to bring a snack or drink of your own to share.
